History

In spring 1999 Van Cann sold his firm Adogis (nowadays incorporated in Tensing) to Royal Wegener NV, the Dutch-based media and marketing group with a quotation at Damrak stock exchange. He was named business unit manager Adogis and added to the board of Wegener Suurland Falkplan bv.

His webconcepts are based on the growing economic value of Open Source software. Van Cann is involved as a chaiman in Stichting POST and in the Joomla! project and works closely together with Stichting Holland Open (organising the Holland Open conference) Van Cann operates from Heemstede where he is director/owner of 2Value bv. He graduated from Larenstein in Velp, the Netherlands with a Bachelors degree in water & soil management. From the University of Amsterdam he graduated with a Masters degree in management & computer science.
